This is now back on our wishlist, because we cannot afford to replace it.That's right--replace it.It works well, but be very careful that your children do not attempt to apply pressure of any kind to the frame, and as soon as you are done using it, pack it up and stow it away properly.

The clamps break off easily.We lost two of them in 4 months of use, and had to trash the canopy.

The good: when not broken, it does provide shade and shelter to riders.We got a couple good trips to the zoo out of it, one in sun, and one in light rain (daddy doesn't mind getting wet, and the animals are much more active in the cool, so this was particularly useful).

Soft & Sturdy Jumbo Blocks Review

I bought these blocks for my 5 and 2 year old boys at Christmas and they have played with them every day since. Despite the blocks being foam, they are very durable and the only wear is a few teeth marks! The bright colors and soft texture seem to make them irresistible. The boys' imaginations never stop coming up with new ways to use them, and they delight in the tall towers they can make that are relatively stable because of the grippy surface of the foam. These are far superior than the wood type because they are so light they don't hurt or damage the furniture, and the scale and size of the pieces makes them the perfect ramps for little cars and houses for small stuffed animals. Hours of quiet, battery-free fun - probably the best toy purchase I have ever made. A safe bet if you don't know what to get a preschooler.

January 2009: I wrote the above part of this review back in May of 2006 and I am just adding that we are on kid#3 (a girl this time) and these are still in good shape and being played with almost daily.

I think this is a great toy and I'm sure my son will love to play with the blocks, but i payed over $40 dollars for what i thought was a lot of blocks based on the picture. The directions to putting it together were difficult to understand and there were not holes in the places that it showed holes to put some of the accessories on. My 5 1/2 year thinks it is really cool and has gotten over the disappointment of only one flag fitting. The sails look really cool but they are too difficult for him to raise and lower as you have to match a very small hole up and make sure the sail is not covering it.

I bought this for my son 2 1/2, and he is neither tall enough, nor does he have the weight required to turn it.I wouldn't recommend this for anyone under 5 years of age, or 45 lbs.The car itself weighs about 40 lbs, so you need some strength to both move it and turn it.I'm sure he will love it in a year or two, but not yet.

When I was shopping around for a climber/slide combo for my two year old son, all I wanted to know was, "Can I put this together by myself?"

My husband is currently in Iraq and I'm a nightmare when it comes to tools, so I had to choose wisely.

This ended up being a great choice.All the pieces snap together fairly easily and I didn't need to bother any of the neighbors for help.It's not stated in the directions, but I did use a rubber mallet to make the connections tighter and that made all the difference in the world.

I did not pre-drill the holes for the four screws as others here have.However, had I known about that little tip, I would have.

Thirty minutes after I received this delivery, I had it set up and my son was playing on it.Perfect!

My daughter recieved this for Christmas and she loves it.It has lots of space for her to put all her art supplies. It is very sturdy, we don't have to worry about it breaking if she bumps into it when she's playing. I was a little worried that it was going to be too small for her (she's almost 6), but the chair is very sturdy to hold her and she sits at it quite comfortably. The only downfall that I have seen is the light doesn't stay on long at all and it isn't bright enough for her to see well to draw. She actually doesn't even use the light because it only stays on for a few seconds at a time. Other than that, the desk is a hit.

We bought this playhouse for our daughter's 2nd B-day. First of all, let me say it is a beautiful playhouse! The door-bell doesn't ring loudly and the play phone rings the same way. It was very easy to build, but it took two people, for holding purposes. The front porch is very roomy but as you enter into the house it's VERY SMALL inside, 30 1/2 wide by 41 1/2 long!!!
Overall, the house is quite large appearing as you view from the outside. The inside is LITTLE. I really can't see two children being able to play in the house part without knocking into each other. I really liked the porch idea but i just didn't realize that it took away sooo much inside the house section. I really like Step2 and we have several of their products but this one will have to go back. Sorry Step2!

Trampoline Ladder-2 steps Review

This ladder does not securely hook onto the rim of the trampoline - the top arms need to be curved downward more so that it stays where you put it. I have two children under age six, and when they try to climb the ladder, their weight pulls the ladder away from the trampoline and it actually falls to the ground. Luckily no one has been injured yet. Its been put away until we can figure out a way to attach it so it won't fall.

We bought this toy for our six year old autistic son who loves playing in water.As soon as we set it up, he was entranced--loved the water flowing, loved the floating toys, loved the button to turn it off and on.But within a short time, the water flow diminished considerably.We realized this was because the pump was getting clogged with dirt and grass (it was set up in our backyard).A $1 aquarium dip net solved the problem--why Step 2 didn't include a filter or screen in the design is a mystery!

We bought this collection for Christmas (at the time, it was on sale from the Step2 site.) My two year old has gotten sick of some of his other Christmas presents, but he keeps coming back to this farm set.The play mat gives a nice large area to play on and he loves getting out all the little pieces and setting them up. The barn doors did give us a little trouble with falling off, but I fixed them up but inserting the ends of toothpicks into the holes for the door "stubs." Now the door fits snugly and that seems to have taken care of the problem.

I really like the MainStreet system because there's such a variety of items to choose from. And since it's a little smaller scale than Little People's, it's easier to store!

Our daughters recieved this as a gift and though it was confusing to put together the end result was AMAZING!!!What I love the most is that once you get the main structure together you still have an added swing set and an added arch that can be used off of the board to spread the play out so their is plenty of beautiful pieces for more than one kid to play with. The handle tends to come off, but that's the only bad thing i can say about it. I bought it for my 15 month old and she LOVES it! She is young for it but she loves to put all the figures in the shoe and then take them all out again. If you child likes little people then this toy would be great for them. The figures are really cute. She'll grow into the pretend part...but for now she is learning how to open and close the does and different parts of the shoe. She love the little fairy noise it makes. I may get the iplay cottage down the road to add to her village...but having to pick just one I recommend this one.

We bought this bed for my 23 month old son and he LOVES it! I love the fact that it offers a little bit more security for my son so he can't fall out of the bed.Grant it this bed is a little bit more expensive the the other metal or wooden beds, but, to me it was and is well worth it.We spent a good 30 minutes or so in Toys R Us looking at all of the beds they had to offer and decided on this one.My son not only sleeps in his put it keeps him occupied in his room as he climbs in and out of the windows.I love the little night light on top, it just sets it off real well.We did the 102 Dalmation theme in his room and it comes together wonderfully. If you have a little boy..I say go for this bed..you wont regret it.

This swing is a lot of fun for the kids. We have it in the blue color, and it is hanging in a doorway in our kitchen.

My main complaint is that the straps are not long enough. I was unable to strap in an 18 month old because the straps were too short. He is a big boy, but is under the weight and age limit.

I like this model of swing because small kids under 7 can swing without being strapped in.

I was easily able to wash it outside with a hose, soap, and washrag.

I am looking to buy a different toddler swing that I will actually be able to strap a toddler into. I do not feel safe having a toddler in this swing unstrapped.

Imagine my surprise when I saw red paint chips all over my baby's little mouth! Then Kolcraft is impossible to deal with!

I do not keep my baby in this for long periods of time.Perhaps 15 minute periods when I need to fold clothes, vacuum, you know how that goes.Anyway, this product had been in my estimation the perfect place to put baby for these intermissions.The toys are great, it was easy to assemble.I love, love the feature that enables you to re-purpose this as a walk behind!

My little guy teethes on the toy arch of this item.It is half yellow and half red. He only has 2 little bottom teeth.Then one day I was sitting on the floor playing with him while he was in this and noticed that he had a lot of red chips all over his mouth and inside as well.At first I thought it was blood, but he was not crying and didn't appear hurt.I looked at the toy arch and noticed that the red paint chips off.I took him out and called Kolcraft.The rep seemed distant and unconcerned but I was sent another toy arch, I asked the rep to please report this awful defect and her response was "I never heard of this before."I asked if that could be because the product was just manufactured in 6/2005.She didn't know!

Over 1 week later, the new arch arrived, I opened it and scratch tested it and sure enough, the paint chipped off.I called Kolcraft and once again, was told I would be sent another toy arch.Perhaps they don't get it!

Thinking it was just "Me" overreacting, I placed my baby in this again with the new arch in place.Sure enough, he is teething on it within the first 2 minutes and like before, paint chips are around his mouth.Once again I called Kolcraft and was told that there was nothing they could do except issue me another toy arch.They are missing the point of all this and I cannot seem to reach anyone there who seems to realize that we moms do not want to see the paint on our babies toys come off in their mouths and on their faces.

They keep telling me not to worry because the paint is non toxic!In my opinion, this just should not happen!

Although this product has excellent features and my baby loves this, (I did too) I would look for an alternative until they get this flaw corrected.

Step2 Play Up Gym Set Review

This is a great swing set. The main purpose of my review, however, is to emphasize that it is NOT easy to set up.
It took about 6 hours overall.
A few of the pieces were defective. One bolt was not cut properly and we had to go to the hardware store to replace it. In addition, a seam on one of the main plastic pieces had to be sanded down for the swing pole to be properly secured. It was quite a project.
The stakes used to secure the whole set are very challenging to install.

Like I stated, I'm pleased with the end result, but don't be fooled by the "easy to install" claim. Also, 2 people are definitely needed to install.

We debated for a long time as to which easel to go with, I'm so glad we went with this one - it's perfect. Chalkboard works great, erases beautifully and very easy to draw on. The other side is a magnetic whiteboard that my son has drawn on with crayons, wipes off no problem. It comes with 1 pack of magnetic letters and one pack of magnetic numbers - throw them out - they are a choking hazard - you can easily buy a larger set at your local Longs, walgreens or whatever for about $1.00 each. I love how this easel folds up for easy storage and one of my favorite things about this easel over the others (besides the quality) is the storage tray - it goes from one side to the other, very easy to clean and holds a ton of stuff. It has a clib on both sides to hold paper or pads of paper (I've put up one sheet and it holds it just as perfectly as a whole pad). My son has been playing with this easel non-stop since we got it. We bought it directly from step2's website because their shipping charge was MUCH cheaper than here. I highly recommend this as a wonderful easel for any child!

The theater arrived in a box that had been through hell. There were holes in the box, it was dented, and ripped. I was surprised that everything was still in the box. There were a few small scratches on the bottom of the theater but nothing too noticeable. It does seem to be able to fall over easily and if the little doors in the back are left open, it gives it a bit more leverage. My girls haven't played with it much as they got other things they were more excited about for Christmas. I would say that for the most part, we are happy with the product. It was really easy to put together and the instructions were very clear.

We bought this for our turning 2yr old, and he is a BIG kid. This is the perfect size climber for the toddler crowd, probably 1 1/2 to 4yrs if I gave my opinion.Its a fabulous size for indoor use (we put it in my son's room). The colors are great too! Not bright, so it will blend in a little with the home decorating maybe. The colors are a little darker than pictured (a richer red, darker tan/ brown arch, and the platform is darker green). My son loves this thing, and is all over it....quite acrobatic.Its great for motor development, and problem solving, and if you have a sensory seeking/ hyper child like mine..........this more than serves its purpose. We are very pleased with this simple climber.......we love it and would recommend it to anyone!

Step2 Shady Oasis Sand & Water Play Table 202111 Review

We recently picked up a couple back-yard play stations for our boy (18 months). One is the Step 2 Shady Oasis Sand and Water Table. He has always loved splashing in the bath and he enjoys pools of shallow water. He also loves playing in sand when we take him to the beach or playing in the sandboxes when we take him to neighborhood parks. Hence, the backyard sand and water table seemed a natural, albiet the scale is entirely different. The play station was easy to put together and required a Phillips screwdriver and a long-nosed plier. The latter was not specified and I used it only to retrieve screws when I'd drop them when trying to fit them in small confined places my fingers wouldn't fit. In any case, assembly was a quick, easy and simple task. However, you might consider where you want this thing because you won't be moving it after the water and sand is added.

We've only had the sand and water table a short time so our testing of the toy is inadequate. Such is the case with many of his toys. It's difficult to comment on it's effectiveness as a play station and would probably take six months of observation in order to judge. At the present, our boy likes to splash the water, that's for certain. He seems to like the paddle wheels, but hasn't learned how to operate them as yet. The wheel in the tower works quite well, I might add, but the boy doesn't find it terribly interesting as yet. Instead, he tears the tower off and throws it out into the yard. He scoops up cups of sand and scatters it on the nearby ground. Also, he tosses the cups on the ground. The umbrella seems to fascinate him. Ah well, it'll probably take a while to adjust and I expect he'll be enjoying it in a few months.

Fun Flow Sink Review

It is really unfortunate that there are issues with the pump on this toy. When it works correctly it is a lot of fun and the kids absolutely love it. The problem is after only one day the pump stopped working. Sometimes it makes a horrible screeching sound and nothing comes out. Other times it hums loudly and only a trickle comes out. Sometimes it works correctly. We've taken it apart countless times but can never seem to find the problem or fix it permanently. After doing some research I found problems with the pump are common. It's incredibly frustrating. If the pump wasn't defective I would give it 5 stars because the kids really do love it. They'll spend hours splashing around, giving their dolls baths, cooking, etc. Every kid who comes to our house always wants to play with it.

**Update** Spoke with Step 2 customer service and they were extremely helpful. They are shipping a replacement pump at no cost.

We gave this car to our foster child on his first b-day, and he immediately took to it...he wanted to sit inside the car and be taken for drives around the house right away!!!He really enjoys taking his walks around the neighborhood now...he seemed to be quite bored in his stroller, but now sits up, hangs on to the stearing wheel and pretends to drive and really looks around.I find that is better for communication and learning on our walks because I can better see what he is noticing and looking at and he can interact with the environment and me better.Of course, it's a really good thing that there is a seatbelt...he has tried several times to get up while moving and was not able to because of the seatbelt...must use that every time!!!We also really like the lift up "trunk" to store keys and water sippy cups.The only things that I don't like are I think the lift up trunk compartment can be a hazard...my little guy almost pinched his fingers in that many times already.And I wish that the sides where his feet rest came up higher...we've had to stop several times while walking to put his feet up on the treads because he started to drag them on the ground...probably getting tired.For safety reasons, those are my only complaints.

Let me start by saying that my 10 month old LOVES this toy. She likes both modes (walk behind and ride on) and she really likes the toys on the body. I would agree with the other reviewer who said that this is a carpet area only walker. The design of this toy is bizarre at best. In order to get the toy from ride on to walker, you have to "snap" the handle into place. This is not easy. It's not impossible, but it does take some practice and the first few times she used it I didn't get the handle secured properly. Also, this toy will tip over. My baby likes to walk to the side of both of her walkers but the other walker has a more stable base. Although I wouldn't recommend this toy as a first walker or a walker for a non-carpeted area (for that I recommend Elmo's Grow and Go Walker Mower by Fisher Price), I do like the fact that this toy has two functions.

I expected these to be of the same quality as the toy food that came with the Step2 50's Diner set, but it's not. The pie, pizza, chocolate, and cookies only have the top. The bottom is hollow. The picture of the watermelon shows the green rind and black seeds, but the rind and seeds on the watermelon slices I received are just red. Also, the plastic is hard. Not like the softer plastic of the food that came with the 50s Diner. One of the ice cream pieces was dented, and one of the tacos was scratched. The nice thing about this set is that all the pieces are food - there are no canned or boxed items that kids don't like to play with as much.

My kids received this 2-3 years ago as a present from Grandma.It has held up wonderfully! Up to 4 kids fit in it just fine and the lid helps to keep out pesky bugs.The kids are able to sit on the "hands" of the crab, or IN the sand.They have also decided the lid can be used as a toy just as much as the sandbox itself! The lid has held up to being bent backwards numerous times and ridden down the hill in our backyard! I highly recommend this one - it stands up to kids and keeps the sand in & the bugs OUT!

We bought this when my son was 18 months, he's almost 6 now. It is a great product that he got a lot of use out of when he was smaller. After a couple of years of stomping on the lid it began to not keep the water out, and that's pretty much when we stopped using it.

Here's the pros:

> HUGE sandbox part- will hold a lot of sand and a lot of little kids. 2 older kids would still fit just fine.

> Very durable (except for the umbrella). We just replaced it with a standard beach umbrella. However, keep the kiddos and dogs from traipsing all over the lid or it might stop keeping it dry after a couple of years like ours did.

> Table is a great size.

> Sold it after 4 years of use at a yard sale and got $35 for it. These things will last forever just about.

Cons:

> If you put it in the grass you are in for a real pain in the rear keeping the grass from under it. We live in the south, and have a LOT of spiders. LOT of spiders. The black widow is a particularly bad problem on our property, and the underside of this picnic table is a perfect condo for them. Add the grass there and it is a nightmare. The weed whacker won't fit underneath, so you have to trim the grass under the table and seat with scissors or gardening shears. Spiders,and my hands do not make a happy combination. It got to be a real pain, so we just stopped using the table part because it was always full of sand and dirt anyway.

> The sandbox did start to collect water after a couple of years. It got really really nasty as the water has no way to drain out. Even after drilling a few holes in the plastic to allow water to escape it was not much better.Keep a good watch on how your lid is fitting. If I had contacted Step 2 at the first sign of trouble they might have been able to help me.

> If you don't have the umbrella in the hole, kids are going to fill it with sand. THere is a stopper in there that prevents the umbrella from going down too far (or at least there was in my model) which also prevents the sand from going through. Now you have a problem with not being able to use your umbrella.

We previously had a Little Tikes Hideaway Art desk, but now that my son is walking and coloring, he wants to sit and do these activities the same time as big sister and the Little Tikes desk only had one chair...I ordered this specifically because it came with two chairs and it's a more open table.I LOVE that the table is vertical and has two vertical containers for storage.I am also very excited about the display easels at the top of each side of the table, four in total!I purchased some storage containers from Amazon in addition to this table, so I will have something to store our paints, coloring books, scissors and other art and craft supplies...The Little Tikes Hideaway Art desk had more storage areas, but like I said, this really doesn't bother me at all because the storage containers I bought are very travel friendly and they all fit nicely in the side of this tower that sits against the wall, under the tower, out of the way until they are needed.I highly recommend if you have two children that like to do arts and crafts.The only negative comment I have is that it's unfortunate that Step 2 isn't offering additional stools...as far as I can tell, they don't even sell additional stools to match...Other reviewers also wish that Step 2 offered additional stools....Hopefully if we all have the same idea, then maybe they will too =)
Also, as far as assembly goes, I STRONGLY encourage the use of an electric screwdriver...I used one and had it together in about 12 minutes, both stools and the tower!Shipping was absolutely amazing, I had this within two business days and only requested standard shipping!Shipping costs were extremely low as well!! I bought this house for my 2-year-old son. I love the design and the features. What really made up my mind about buying this expensive toy is the secret passage inside that many reviewers pointed out.
I cannot even describe how dissappointed I was to find no passage in the house when it was delivered.
I contacted Step2 and they sent a standard reply about some safety standards due to which the passage was eliminated.
I just read your Amazon discription and it still states that there is a secret passage in this house.
Sending my house back is out of the question. Shipping a huge item like that will cost almost as much as the house itself.
I just don't understand why manufacturers cannot list all the changes to their products, so that the consumers were aware of what they are buying.

I gave it three stars because the product is solidly constructed and is what it seems in the pictures. However, the lack of brakes and the slippery, plastic wheels make it utterly unsuitable for babies just learning to walk. My 10-month-old daughter would lean on it and fall down because the wagon would just slip away from under her. The light weight of the wagon doesn't help either. The blocks are much smaller than they look in the pictures, but they are actually OK for baby to play with. If I can figure out a way to add rubber around the wheels and add more weight to it, this wagon may yet prove useful.

Step2 Mailmaster Junior Mailbox Review

We are disappointed with this mailbox. The door is mounted so tightly that it is hard to open and close. Unless you brace the mailbox with one hand while working the door, the whole thing falls over. I have been trying to teach my son to brace the mailbox, but at 21 months, he still doesn't understand. He will not play with the mailbox. Occasionally, he will try again, but the thing falls over and he is disappointed--again.

The size could be better. A postcard will barely fit in--with some bending at the edges. My son got postcards this summer from his nanny, and I wanted to "mail" them to him in this box, but it wouldn't really work.

The name decal for the side is just a strip of white stick-on paper, and you have to write the name yourself with your own marker. I wish they had included a sheet of preprinted alphabet letters.

Overall, I would NOT buy this again. It was a waste of money for us.

Step2 Patches the Rocking Horse Review

There's nothing wrong with this rocking horse. I expected it to be bigger than it is. My 10 month old isn't comfortable putting his feet where they're supposed to go, it's not that he's too short, it's just awkward for him. He doesn't really like the rocking horse anyway, there's one at his play group that he really likes but this one he could care less about. He gets on for about 30 seconds and gets bored, even with me rocking it for him. It's also uncomfortable for him to make it rock himself. It doesn't really rock forward , it has to rock backward first and he's just not at all comfortable leaning back. The thing that I absolutely hated about this is that you have to put the stickers on yourself and for someone with obsessive compulsive tendencies it's a nightmare. There's 2 patches of grass to put on each side where the child's feet are supposed to go and I just could not line it up right, so the stickers are still in the box and I've been waiting a month for my husband to have the time to put them on.

Step2 Whisper Ride Buggy Blue Review

We recently got the Whisper Ride Buggy for our nine-month-old son. We were aware it was marked for 18 months and up, but after reading reviews, we decided to try it. He was a little unsure at first and we just pushed him around the kitchen to get him used to it. But pretty soon, he realized that riding in the car was great fun and now he gets very excited when we put him in it and take him for walks outside. I'm glad this car, unlike some of the others, has a seatbelt. (However, it is only a lapbelt so you have to be careful not to push too fast or suddenly.) It also has a steering wheel, a horn, a cupholder, and a surprisingly large trunk. It is a really cute car and the wheels are designed so that it is not too loud when you push it on pavement. Our son loves to sit it in and steer the steering wheel even when he isn't being pushed, so I can set him up in the kitchen while I do dishes and he is perfectly happy.

There are a few negatives about the Buggy. I wish it had doors on it or sides. Also, it is somewhat hard to steer around corners. Finally, it was a real pain to put together. Many of the holes that were supposed to be there weren't, and my husband had to break out his drill to make them. He also commented that, because of the way the steering wheel is attached, if the horn needs new batteries, it is going to be difficult to replace them.

Despite these negatives, I am still very happy with this purchase. I think this is definitely one of the better cars you can get and I anticipate we are going to get a lot of use out of this.

When it is not in use, we store the table upside-down on top of our dining room table. It is easy to relocate when we need to move it and fits through a standard doorway (when turned on it's side). The top of the table has a very slight lip to stop crayons or markers from rolling on the floor. I think we will be using this happily for years!

Step2 Four Seasons Playhouse - Pink/Purple Review

We bought this for my 18 month old for christmas. It is very cute and she loves it. The reason I did not give it a 5 is because it is a little smaller than I had pictured, even though I had the measurements, and the door falls off pretty easy. Still, she loves it and it was less expensive than the other playhouses!

I have the "boy" version of this saucer, but I don't see it listed on Amazon at the moment. I had this for my son who is now 2 years old. We started using this when he was three months old up until he was in the late crawling/walking phase (around 1 year old).

PROS: I love the toys.They are durable and very diverse.The ball slide really captivated his attention when he got older and really helps with hand-eye coordination.It is very sturdy. Assembly was not overly complicated.

CONS:It is big and bulky.It does not fold or collapse.It is also very hard to clean around the toys.The toys are not detachable, so to get in all the nooks and crannies makes things difficult.I had thought when I purchased this that it would last with the "walk behind" feature.That feature was not very well received by my son or my friend's child who used it after him.

This saucer was not only used by our son, but passed on to a friend's child and we just got it back for my second child, who is now 3 months old. I had it asembled and put my 3-month old daughter in it with a blanket supporting her back, and she was smiling at cooing.My 2 year old son is also re-discovering it, using the balls and he is playing with the ball features around the legs, which gets him out of my 3-month old's face (he LOVES her in a smothering type of way).

However, I am searching Amazon now for another saucer. This one is definately high-dollar but since we are limited on space and overgrown with kids toys now, I want something more compact and easy to fold.I also would like to find toys that are easier to clean around.A family member has the Evenflow system and I really like how it folds and the detachable toys. So, although the toys on this saucer are much more interesting and very durable, I am probably going to replace it for a cheaper, more durable version.

Remember when pricing out saucers that you are going to get maybe 9 months of wear out of it, and once they are mobile they would rather be on-the-go!!!!

Tool Chest Dresser Review

I just bought this tool chest for my son today. I have been thinking about getting it for about a week so I went ahead and bought it today. He really loves it. I think it is great! It is something different and really cool for little boys. I put his tv on top which fit great. I also had plenty of room inside for X box and direct tv box. Also some extra room for books and movies. I would recommend this for any little boy. I think it is great!

We just bought this bed for our 2 year old son who loved his crib.Well, one night in this bed and he loves it.The first night he kept climbing out of the bed and walking around the house, but the second night he slept all the way through.The bed is great with a crib mattress because the sides are high enough that he doesn't role out.Shipping is out of control but JcPenneys had the bed for the same price as the store near us and we got it sooner.
